A Fish Out Of Water

Whilst this is a stunning image by Mark Boulton the subject is looking rather forlorn, abandoned from its purpose and beached on the weeds.

If we are not careful society can discard people that it decrees as surplus to requirements. The unemployed, the elderly, the misfits to name a few, and at times we can all feel forlorn and abandoned. Yet unlike a fishing boat that was created for one purpose, and one purpose alone we are multifaceted and can adapt to different situations. Equally each individual has something unique to offer a community, a purpose for the benefit of the whole.

Maybe its time to remember your own talents or those of people in your community that have been sidelined. Launch them or yourself into the sea of opportunity again and bring a blessing to all.
