Don’t tell anyone but one of the many hats I will be wearing today is Santa’s. All in a days work for a Methodist Minister! I’m to eat a meal with some lovely ladies before sneaking off and doing a quick “Superman” change in the local toilets, glamour darling glamour!
Prior to the meal I will be assisting at our final Church Mice service of the year. In it our puppet Matthew Mouse plays a key part. Strangely there are similarities between the two events. Santa is nothing but an over-sized puppet, and puppets have the ability to connect people with a dimension outside of themselves as I’ve mentioned here. So I’m going to be a big kid tomorrow, and I’m hoping those whom I’m with will join me in some child like activities. If we find ourselves in the playground of wonder then there is a good chance that “The One” might turn up.
